Introducing you to the Weekend : LOMAX

PRAISE LOMAX!

WOOOOOOOOOOOO. Im back! Have been a bit redundant with the old blog of late...don't know why really as i feel like i have more random shit to talk about than ever.....

Annnnnyyyyway i stumbled upon this track on the worldwide web and saw it like a sign from god to get back on the blog! It couldn't be a better piece of music to introduce you to the Bank Holiday weekend and mark the return to my daily ramblings and blogging! Its only the teaser snippet (which ive heard will be appearing in full soon) but .Lomax and this track Praise are already looking, in my opinion, ready to take full assault on stereo and get you making a host of out of control moves on the dancefloor - or even in your office or lounge. Its guna be big....so get on your feet (where ever you may be right now) and let the music make the decisions for you and your feet. ENJOY and WELCOME TO THE WEEKEND!

My New Favourite Place...

Bloomsbury / Orange Dot Gallery

What a busy busy few weeks its been! After a more than hectic and slightly frustrating day (although a good day was had by the kids and the bands were amazing!) at the Underage Easter Special, Village Underground. Then our office robbery - all my work was lost, which i blame a little on never having had a hardrive. Finally the launch of our Gallery was here and thank fuck as i think everyone needed more than a good night and few drinks - and did we (and all of you who attended ) drink. I lost count of the empties but can safely say unsafe amounts of booze was consumed! Booze aside however Orange Dot Gallery launched with the Private view for an amazing exhibition from young photographer Jacob Perlmutter and a crowd of amazing people - from friends, family, artists directors, stylists, creatives, musicians, art buyers and just all the kind of interesting people you could want! New favourite site and peps are the girls from Ballard Of !Check it out! Thanks to everyone who said Thank-you and enjoyed the night - although i can still think of a few thank-yous i haven't received. But i'm beyond caring!

Bloomsbury is my new home and favourite place! Im obviously biased but if you do head over to Bloomsbury - not only does it have amazing shops and restaurants around the Brunswick centre but it now has a beautiful little Gallery and the exhibition is definitely worth a look! You can join the Facebook group here to keep up to date with all the launches and exhibition...and expect some amazing events coming soon...

Especially For Me.....

SUPERTRASH

....or maybe, actually most probably not, but when i saw this little headline (and having a small obsession with the queen myself) i just thought i would give it a look. Not a brand i'm overly aware of if i'm honest - but this may be due to the price points although not bad are very much higher than most of my charity shop buys! But Supertrash have presented me with a collection for A/W10 that i actually quite like - and so then i checked out the current SS collection and one may be breaking the shopping ban i am on and splashing out! Plus having just signed up to a triathlon - i have no idea why - i think Cleopatra deserves a treat.

But for AW10, In true 'modern' Cleo style and following on from a rich and tropical summer (the look im going to be very much channelling this summer) the collections mixes a fusion of rich sultry colours, snakeskin and zebra-esque prints and dominating uber luxe body con dresses and leather jackets. Like the great lady herself its a powerful and beautiful collection with all the staples you need for the season (god its only just started to shine!) - jumpsuits, rich prints and neutral shades - its just a shame about the price. Although if any lovely person at Supertrash would like to send something my way i will wear it out and about ALLL the time! I REALLY WILL!

Check out the current gems on ASOS at the moment if your not quite ready to think about the coming winter..like my crazy mind!
