Only recently have i been introduced to the world of Polish Film Posters, but already this morning i have read several articles and ordered myself a book from amazon. These amazing conceptual masterpieces put original American posters to shame every-time, truly beautiful yet hard hitting works of art. Here are just a few of my favourites, but Cinephilia West in London is hosting an exhibition of over fifty rare Polish Film Posters until the end of January. A beautiful example of one of the finest film poster traditions, i think, in the world. Im not going to sit here and tell you the whole history of something i am only beginning to discover myself but check out The Guardian for a brilliant low down....
