Watch out for this one....

Peter O'Grady is a 22 year old dance music producer from south London who has been mixing since the young age of 13. Now under the cheeky guise of Joy Orbison and along with his own label Doldrums Recordings this young talented DJ/Producer is storming line ups around the country whilst producing his own unique tracks. For such a young guy, he knows his stuff and has been greeted with almost religious awe with his debut single, Hyph Mngo, hailed as "the most essential purchase of the season" and "the best dubstep/post-garage track of the year". With a range of influences and appreciation for everything from Todd Edwards to Phil Spector, his sounds are eclectic, deep, epic yet banging, morose, drenched in synths, and rhythmically occupying the uncharted territory between dubstep, garage and house. This guy is more than just a DJ / Producer but a musical craftsman - creating music that is fresh, catchy and 'now' , but with the talent, knowledge and craft firmly in his fingers Joy Orbison is definitely going to be sticking around for a while...

Next on his agenda:

8th January - Fabric, London
12th February - Tufnell Park Dome/supporting Four Tet, London
13th February - Bigger Than Barry, Birmingham
